Permanence

Permanence (2015—–). Pressed flowers, leaves and seeds; plastic and paper.

We can only be so lucky as to be self-aware characters in our own movies; to know which moments are scenes and which fade into nothingness. I will live my whole life trying to capture the ephemeral. I will stretch our few seconds into eternities.

I can tell you a story or two for each flower.

Time passes by so quickly. One of the first in this collection is #5. A Rose Like No Other, a beautiful red rose pressed from my maternal grandmother’s 85th birthday celebrations.

In two weeks, management school will resume again. There are so many things I haven’t done.

Say something back.
