Sometimes I forget that images can be more puissant than words.
The visual flair of Ashley Mackenzie‘s works demonstrates a striking transcendence through dimensions. What makes it so evocative is the nature of the barriers that she breaks; previously unthought of physical territories are unravelled and then stitched together through a thematic motion of form. The reflective humanity present in the pieces creates that unsettling resonance (which first drew me in).
On a more technical note, I love the cleanness of the ink and the fluidity of the lines; the pencil-like texture also presents a very smooth and relaxing gradient.

Alexander Khokhlov does what I could only dream to do: not just striking photography, but body art as well. The colors are vivid, intact and well-composed, contributing to designs that are, while not necessarily realistic or controversial, quite iconic and interesting. The solidity of the photos amazes me, and the motifs of the different series themselves are quirky and innovative.
Looking forward to more of his works! While less novel, his portraits and creatives work similarly displays his eye for beauty and light. Still breathtaking.
So happy I found these online! Go buy prints and support them please. :)
