Before I make a post bragging about the roast chicken I cooked (I did a lot of the prep, okay), and actually making my new year post, I’ll add in the last four highlights of my December 2014.
And before I forget: THANK YOU to everyone who made 2014 possible and wonderful. The air I breathe. My family, my mother. Food. My friends. Sleep. Tumblr. School. UPMDC, AIESEC and THP. WordPress. Myself.
1D World
I have no idea what happened, but we happened upon this wonderful store in SM Megamall.
It’s important to note that I took pictures with my faves: LOUIS LOUIS LOUIS and also Harry (because I ship Larry) and Zayn (because I also ship Zouis). And a bit of Niall, I suppose.
Note: My mom kept saying “What? What’s ID World????”. And I was like, “Mom, it’s 1D, as in One Direction, not ID. Identity World what the–“.
Christmas Celebrations + Gifts
Christmas this year followed the same pattern as last: intimate family Christmas Eve at home, late Christmas Eve in Cainta, then Christmas Day in Nagcarlan. Plus-minus several hours because we kept on falling asleep. :)
Highlights of the Christmas experience include: posing with a random Pope Francis standie, the cool post-its during the exchange gift times, and the F O O D.
Also, for the record, these were the only gifts I gave:

And in contrast, these are the top (i.e. most useful, most wished for) gifts I received:
Indescribably thankful for all the blessings I received this year! :)
Disney On Ice: Dare to Dream
Sister got us some tickets to see one awesome show: Disney On Ice. (*Thank you*) It’s actually the first time I’ve ever watched anything on ice, I think, and I really, really had fun. I also had no idea what to expect, but what I got was a 100-minute show featuring the dreams of Princesses Tiana, Snow White, Cinderella and Rapunzel.
I made a movie of some bits. Best parts? The set and costume design, the way they did some of the tricks (from bibity bopity boo how do you spell that to the carriage to Max the horse), and the acrobatics/skating (especially when Rapunzel and Flynn began flying around).
Casino Night
After watching Dare to Dream, we went to City of Dreams (which, cool play of words), this swanky new casino hotel in the burgeoning strip near Mall of Asia. It was so big and so pretty, and it reminded us of Hong Kong, especially the interior shoppes part.
We went to Solaire (around 2AM, because we are a legit hardcore family) after to grab some food since practically nothing is open in COD, except for the casino part…
Okay, that’s it. This long ass post is over.
xx
Greeting 2015 in a minute!
