I can’t tell you how many times I cried during this movie, because I think I was crying all throughout the film. Seven Sundays by Star Cinema et al is honestly a well-written, thought-provoking and cathartic piece. I understand why it’s a grade A movie.

Even though the three hours away from studying might cost me a few points this Monday’s exam, I’d say it’s worth it. I wouldn’t trade the experience of watching the movie with my mom for the world.  Thank you for bringing me with you. Or maybe I just needed to quietly cry my stress out…

Please go watch it! I think there are a lot of lessons to be had throughout the story. You’ll find yourself relating to at least one of the characters, and remembering your family and family members because of the rest. The movie hits you right in the heart when it comes to sibling rivalries, issues of money and success, and basically almost every point of transition in the family life cycle.

#SevenSundays is a film with all the feels, with a solid realistic script and great acting at the helm (though there were a few rocky line deliveries by the lesser billed actors/actresses).

Okay! Time to dry my tears and go back to studying hematologic disorders!

Post from my Facebook timeline two weeks ago. xxx

I started a [ random movie time ] series since I kept finding myself watching movies on the weekend, despite the truckload of things I needed to study.

Say something back.
