Solid essay. I think everyone needs to discuss how seriously problematic it is –how women can’t be seen in mass media without tops on, because of weird sensitivities and double standards.
This directly translates to how many first-aid practitioners and your random person in general do not know how to watch for symptoms of heart attacks and do not know how to use defibrillators to treat those heart failures in women. Because to do and know those things, first-aid teaching videos should be able to show a woman without her bra on –but they can’t, even in the medical field, so all everyone knows to do is how to treat men and their hearts.
Can we fix this? Now?
